Cinematographer Craig Wrobleski Breaks Down 'The Unholy' in Upcoming Event
The creators of the film The Unholy are taking you behind the scenes in a free panel.

The Los Angeles Post-Production Group (LAPPG) is offering a free Zoom panel on Saturday, May 15, 2021, starting at 1 p.m. PT that will explore the shoot of the Evan Spiliotopoulos-directed film The Unholy. The panel will feature cinematographer Craig Wrobleski, CSC, talking about how the visual effects team navigated the shutdown to bring the film to screen.
Panelists include:
- Cinematographer Craig Wrobleski (The Umbrella Academy, Tales from the Loop, Fargo) will discuss techniques and equipment used (ZEISS Supreme Prime Lenses and the Sony VENICE) to capture the frightening mood.
- Executive VFX producer Raoul Bolognini (Fast & Furious, The Twilight Saga, Tomorrow Never Dies) will detail the post-production solutions to complete this unfinished film remotely and to solve principal photography issues brought about by the pandemic.
- VFX supervisor Robert Grasmere (Where’d You Go Bernadette, The Zookeeper’s Wife, The Giver) will share specific examples of how they finished scenes while keeping actors socially distant.
