'Wylde Pak'
How do you imagine the music of a purely cartoon world steeped in family and heritage? That's the task composer Angelica Camacho was sent when she began work on Nickelodeon's Wylde Pak.
Angelica not only co-composed the music and produced the score, but also assembled and led the music team, managed cue sheets and approvals, and oversaw delivery of all final music assets to the network, bridging both the creative and operational sides of music production.
She helped build it from the ground up, and now we're talking to her about it.

NFS: Hi Angelica! Can you tell us more about your company, Feels Right Creative, and the role it has played in shaping music across the film/TV industry?
Angelica Camacho: Feels Right Creative is a Los Angeles–based entertainment company I founded in 2022 that offers talent representation, creative development for film, television, and animation, original composition, score production, music supervision, rights clearance, and full-service production. In just under three years, we’ve collaborated on over 15 projects - including the score and music production for Nickelodeon’s Wylde Pak, and original songs for Netflix, Apple TV+, HBO Max, Warner Bros., ESPN, and Disney+ while representing a diverse roster of artists, composers, songwriters, and producers. We pride ourselves on meeting even the tightest deadlines and budget parameters without ever sacrificing creative vision. Our end-to-end approach ensures every musical element serves the story and helps build a more inclusive pipeline for the next generation of music-for-screen talent.
NFS: What are the key creative considerations when scoring a series for younger viewers like Nickelodeon's Wylde Pak?
AC: For a series aimed at younger viewers, the music needs to be instantly engaging and memorable — think catchy themes and vibrant sounds that match the onscreen energy.
It should amplify humor and excitement without overpowering scenes, and integrate fresh musical styles to keep each episode feeling new. Above all, the score should be fun while seamlessly supporting the storytelling and making the show as sonically distinctive as it is visually captivating.
NFS: Are there any other TV shows or films that you and your Feels Right Creative team are particularly proud of? How did your work on those projects compare with Wylde Pak?
AC: Working on the show Punk’d will always be one of my absolute favorite experiences. It was honestly so special. It was completely different from Wylde Pak, since our role had nothing to do with music and everything to do with pulling in talent and interacting directly with artists for a live-filmed reality show. I grew up watching the show, so getting to collaborate with their incredible creative team was a dream.
Their ideas go far beyond what you'd ever expect, and everyone genuinely has fun throughout the process. It's rare to find a space where you can suggest wild ideas and see them truly embraced. I'm beyond grateful they trusted Feels Right Creative to collaborate on such an iconic series and continue to involve us, because we've learned a ton and had an amazing time along the way.
NFS: I understand you previously worked as an aerospace engineer. How has your professional background prepared you for your work as a music producer?
AC: My time as an aerospace engineer gave me a structured approach to problem-solving and an eye for detail that I now bring to everything I do. Engineering taught me to balance technical constraints like budgets, deadlines, and system requirements. It also instilled a discipline for clear communication and collaboration across teams, whether I’m working with directors, artists, composers, or clearance experts.
Ultimately, that blend of analytical rigor and project management ensures the music I work on is both artistically compelling and reliably delivered.

NFS: You also have a background as an artist manager and A&R, working with such notable talents as Sabrina Carpenter and Hailee Steinfeld. What did that experience teach you about the music-making process?
AC: Working in artist management and A&R with talents like Sabrina and Hailee taught me that great music is as much about relationships and vision as it is about melody and production.
I learned to identify an artist’s unique voice and guide the creative process, from song selection to studio sessions, while balancing commercial strategy with authentic expression alongside the artist and their teams. That role also meant coordinating sessions around their demanding filming schedules, ensuring every minute in the studio counted. It sharpened my ability to anticipate audience reactions, streamline collaborations between artists, songwriters, producers, and engineers, and pivot quickly when ideas didn’t land. Ultimately, it reinforced that successful music-making thrives on trust, clear communication, and a willingness to blend creativity with instincts.
NFS: How did Feels Right Creative land the opportunity to produce and compose the music for Wylde Pak on Nickelodeon?
AC: We had been building our relationship with Nickelodeon’s music team for a few years - they've always been supportive of Feels Right Creative and the talent we represent and collaborate with, keeping us in mind for new opportunities. Our crew had done some work together previously, and when Wylde Pak came around, we were super grateful they reached out. At first, we were just pitching on the theme song. Our team made a couple of revisions based on feedback, and thankfully, the creators liked our direction enough to ask us to test for the score. After hearing our demos, they chose our team to produce and compose the music for the entire series.

NFS: In addition to your role as co-composer, you also served as music producer on the Wylde Pak score. Can you describe the specific responsibilities of that role and how you helped lead the entire musical team?
AC: My responsibilities included helping assemble our creative team, managing scheduling aligned with tight animation timelines, handling the music budget, negotiating contract rates, cue sheet deliveries, and maintaining efficiency without compromising creative standards.
I also acted as the primary liaison between the music team, showrunners, and post-production, ensuring clear communication, coordinating revisions, and troubleshooting any technical or timing issues. Ultimately, my role was to provide creative leadership and operational oversight, ensuring our team stayed organized, inspired, and aligned so we could consistently deliver music at a high level for a major studio that captured the show’s unique blend of heart, humor, and cultural authenticity.
NFS: Is there anything else you would like to share with us about Wylde Pak or any other upcoming projects?
AC: There are new episodes of Wylde Pak rolling out every week — please watch and share with your friends and family! It’s such a special project and one of the most diverse animated originals out right now. On the music side, our roster is constantly releasing new songs and touring worldwide, so there’s always fresh work coming. We’re also developing a music-driven original animated series that puts under-represented voices front and center. So, there’s plenty more to come on both the screen and the music fronts!
