DJI’s New SDR Transmission 2 is Set to Bring Stronger Interference Resistance and Better Image Quality
DJI has introduced its new SDR Transmission 2 wireless video transmission tool, but—spoilers—it’s another new DJI product not set to be available in the US.

DJI SDR Transmission 2
It’s hard to cover DJI's new product announcements without making the whole story about the fact that another helpful, kind of cool piece of film and video gear is set to be released everywhere in the world except the United States.
But here we are.
The DJI drone ban that has now expanded pretty much into an everything ban continues on, and another new DJI product has been revealed, with the DJI SDR Transmission 2 looking like a nice follow-up to the company’s previous model, but it, sadly, does not look like it’s set to be available in the US anytime soon.
The DJI SDR Transmission 2
A follow-up to the original DJI SDR Transmission, which actually is available in the US as a complete wireless video transmission kit, this new version is set to provide stronger interference resistance, better image quality, and greater range.
The DJI SDR 2 will work in the most crowded sets, maintaining a high-bitrate, low-latency feed even in complex environments with lots of competing signals.
The DJI SDR Transmission 2 will include a TX/RX switchable transceiver design and will be Ronin series compatible, aiming to bring pro-grade performance to a compact, lightweight form factor.
Price and Availability
The DJI SDR Transmission 2 will be available for purchase directly from DJI or authorized dealers, but only outside the US. If you live outside the US, or are just curious, here are the full specs and a purchase link to the DJI site (which likely won’t load if you’re in the US).
