If you're running out of things to watch, never fear. Disney will always keep the hits coming. While we may not have a new episode of The Mandalorian, we are getting an in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at the show in a new 8-part documentary series.

Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian will premiere on May 4th (Star Wars Day)but not all at once. New episodes will premiere every Friday, so after the premiere, you'll have to wait for the next 7 in the series.

Jon Favreau described this docuseries as an “opportunity for fans of the show to take a look inside and get to see a different perspective, and perhaps a greater understanding, of how The Mandalorian came together,” in a press release.

The show will dig deep in all the technological advances seen on screen and we will finally learn the magic behind Baby Yoda.

They'll also cover George Lucas, his influence on the show, and the legacy of Star Wars as a whole. No word yet on anything beyond that, but we know there will be extensive cast and crew interviews. So, maybe some juicy tidbits will be hidden in there as well.

If this version of Disney Gallery succeeds, expect it for all its major Marvel shows and maybe Pixar as well.

And if you wanted original Mando content, well—that was slated for October 2020, but delays in production will likely push it back. Nothing has been announced yet, though.

More to come.
