Introducing Nanlite and Their Impressive Forza Series LEDs

Nanlite makes their NAB debut to show off some interesting (and very powerful) LEDs.

The Forza series offers 60, 300, and 500 watt COB LEDs, programmed with lighting effects, including lighting, flashes, monitor flicker, and "malfunctioning bulb". All LEDs in the series, while very powerful, dim down to 1%.

That Forza 60 is crazy! 12.000 lux at 1m, compared to my godox sl-60 at 4100 lux at 1m! And even with NP-F batteries!!! Im gonna have a bunch of those!

When Ted from Aputure said LED is coming for HMI he wasn't kidding. That 500w with lux in the 6 figures is ridiculous. Plus the price point of these is the fraction of the cost of an HMI with ballast or competitors. I would be interested in seeing a review of these.

I'll be curious to know what the fan noise is like? Hopefully, quieter than the godox lights
