Z CAM has introduced its latest E2 camera model, the E2-M4. A variant of the original E2, the Micro Four Thirds 4K camera is just as robust as the original at a much more affordable price.

For those familiar with the Z CAM E2, the E2-M4 is nearly identical. It touts a MFT sensor with 10/12-bit color support and has the ability to record 4K DCI and UHD up to 160fps as well as HD up to 240fps. The camera can also record internal ZRAW via partial debayer or ProRes RAW externally when used with a compatible recorder. As of now, only Atomos has available options to record ProRes RAW. 

The main difference between the E2 and E2-M4 is that this new version is missing the multi-cam synchronization but will cost about $500 less. Z CAM says in a future update, E2 camera models will support live streaming via RTMP, RTPS and SRT directly from the camera without requiring a computer. This will allow the E2-M4, and other compatible E2 cameras, to live stream to YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, and other platforms. The camera's Gigabit Ethernet port will also support live streaming, which can control the camera remotely as well.
