Babelgum's 3rd Online Film Festival is currently accepting submissions, with a deadline of March 28. Submissions are voted on by Babelgum's online audience in each of the following categories: Animation (5 min max), Narrative (15 min max), Nonnarrative (5 min max), and Documentary (15 min max). As for prizes, from their site:
If you are the 1st Place winner of a Jury Award, you will receive a cash prize of US $3,000. If you are a runner-up, you will receive US $1,000. The winner of the Best Viral Short Award will receive US $2,000. If you are the winner of an Audience Award, you will receive a prize to be determined by Babel and announced on the Babelgum website. ((Strange.)) If you are the winner of the Stoli Emerging Filmmaker Award, your film will be screened along with other winners and honored at a reception during the Tribeca Film Festival.
