Cmsp_finished-front_300-125x69ProVideo Coalition has an interesting little article on treating a home studio for better acoustics. Chris Meyer ended up using a few Auralex ProPanels to eliminate reverb in his studio (the article includes audio samples demonstrating their effectiveness), but if you need a truly "dead" sound, you're going to have to toss out aesthetics (unlike Chris): "It’s important to me that our audio studio be an aesthetically pleasing place to spend time in, so I didn’t want to load up the walls with egg crates or sculpted foam squares."
