NAB Video: Baselight and Rampant Designs

FreshDV has a chat with Baselight about their color correction offering, attempting to bring their powerful grading tools inside the NLE via their new Plugin. Plus, Rampant Design showcases their 'drag and drop' overlay style elements for video with low rendering times:

They released this plugin in IBC 2011 and it's never been out for the main public. I wonder what are they thinking... Are they just trying to see where they can fit in the industry.?

I can't hang the Baselight interface. It's messy and unorganized. DaVinci Resolve outshines Baselight in every area.

Yes but it's so great to stay in your NLE, the option for color grading are slow, and the interface is so bad, baselight seems to be a real tool. It exists color finesse for Premiere Pro but they don't have mask so it's too bad...

Please Baselight would be the ideal tool for Premiere Pro user to simplify their workflow !
