We all know Final Draft is helpful software for screenwriting, but now the company has set out to aid screenwriters who've finished their project, as well. The new Big Break Screenwriting Contest offers film and TV writers in 11 genres the chance to win up to $80,000 in cash and prizes. Grand prize winners also get flown to Los Angeles to meet with managers, producers, and executives.

You can submit your full-length screenplay (80 to 120 pages) or teleplay (hour-long: 40 to 70 pages, half-hour: 20 to 35, half-hour multi-camera with double-spaced dialogue: 50 to 60) by the regular deadline of June 26 for just $50 and earn the chance to win a litany of prizes.

11 feature and TV projects will share $80,000 in cash and prizes. Eight feature winners will be chosen in each of the following genres: Action/Adventure, Comedy/Rom-Com, Diversity, Drama, Family/Animated, Period/Historical/War, Sci-Fi/Fantasy, and Thriller/Horror. Three TV winners will be chosen from the Half-Hour Pilot, Hour-Long Pilot, and Diversity Pilot formats.
