SmallHD has five different series of on-camera monitors—the 500, 700, UltraBright, FOCUS and FOCUS OLED, all with varying specs in size, resolution, brightness, contrast, inputs, and functionality. FOCUS OLED is its 5.5" model with, you guessed it, an OLED. Previously, the monitor was only available with a micro HDMI input. This second version offers full-size SDI support.
Both HDMI and SDI flavors tout the same display specs: touchscreen, 402 ppi, 350 nits, 60000:1 contrast, 1920 x 1080 resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, wide color gamut, the same rubberized plastic build and the same features like loadable LUTs and interface tools for waveform, vectorscope, false color and focus assist. The only difference is the input.
The SDI version has one input with 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, and SD-SDI compatability. Like its HDMI counterpart, there is no SDI output loop through.

FOCUS OLED runs off a Sony L series battery which needs to be purchased separately. However, the battery can provide power to cameras like the Sony a7s II or Panasonic GH5 up to 7.2 volts via an adapter cable (also sold separately). FOCUS OLED SDI is available now with a MSRP of $799. The HDMI version is $699.
FOCUS Bolt RX / TX
SmallHD also offers a series of wireless monitors – 703 Bolt and the FOCUS Bolt RX (receiver) and FOCUS Bolt TX (transmitter). The FOCUS Bolt RX received an upgrade with additional capability from Teradek 500, 1000, 3000 and Sidekick II transmitters.
Thanks to a built-in Teradek receiver system one Teradek or Bolt transmitter can be received by as many as four RX receivers up to 500 feet away in full HD. Both RX and TX wireless monitors are built around the FOCUS on-camera series featuring a 5" daylight viewable 1280 x 720 display and a 160° viewing angle horizontally and vertically. The RX and TX sell separately for $1,299 or bundled for $2,499.
