AbelCine has returned to NAB with a slew of new announcements, beginning with news of their Cameo grip, shipping later this summer. A hand grip that's easy to mount under a smaller-sized camera—think Sony a7—and a larger, shoulder-mounted camera placed on a tripod, it comes complete with a run/stop button, a zoom lever (with two axis levers, one for zoom and one for iris), and two programmable buttons for focusing.

The grip can be used for motion picture cameras such as the Panasonic EVA1 as well as still cameras produced by Sony. An included USB port will allow you to adjust and reassign the settings to your liking.

While pricing has yet to be determined, the grip, cable, and rosette adapter will be combined and priced at under $800.
