The Gemini from Litepanels is a versatile 2x1 soft panel offering precision color control and flicker-free lighting in a very portable LED. A new firmware update adds a new Lighting Effects mode which includes effects like TV, emergency lights, lightning, fire, hue burst, paparazzi, fireworks, party lights, pulsing, square, and strobe.
Litepanels mentions the effects are fully customizable and give users control over rate, color, depth, and other functionality to define their look. Additionally, lighting effects and presets can be saved to a USB drive to recall at a later time for a streamlined setup.
The company has also included lighting modes: Correlated Color Temperature (CCT) mode for bi-color (daylight to tungsten) with +/- green adjustment, a new RGBW mode for independent adjustment of red, green, blue, and white, a HSI control for full-color and saturation control, and a Gel mode to dial up different gels.
Gemini is priced at $4,440.
