Trailer Watch: Aliens Reign Supreme in 'Men in Black: International'

The fourth entry in the 'Men in Black' franchise gets a new cast and new creatures.

The characters of Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones have moved on, the setting has been altered, and younger, more novice special agents have joined the team in Men in Black International, the fourth entry in the hugely popular comic book and film series that has now spanned several decades.

Directed by F. Gary Gray (The Italian Job, Straight Outta Compton), the film is a spin-off of the hit trilogy that kicked this film franchise off with a bang some 21 years year ago. Smith and Jones have been replaced with Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson, two more attractive (no offense to Mr. Jones) cast members who, by the first looks of the trailer, have great chemistry with one another, fighting alien baddies and flying expensive cars that have the uncanny ability to fly into the air at breathtaking speed.

One wonders what the International in the film's title exactly refers to (the Eiffel Tower is shown once in the trailer) given that the series has always been inherently intergalactic in nature. But hey, there's Liam Neeson and Emma Thompson! International, indeed. Men in Black International opens in theaters on June 14th, 2019.

One of the worst cut trailers of the year. Opening with two dudes with guns running around doing jack shit. Then introducing inclusion casting bit (ok, thats good), but then just adding random on random with weird transition bits and no cohesion whatsoever. What is this movie even about? Is it still about aliens?
