Think You've Got Killer Editing Skills? Prove It in Filmsupply's Annual Edit Fest
Put your editing skills to the test by creating and submitting an original project to Filmsupply's annual Edit Fest!
Starting June 7, Filmsupply Edit Fest will kick off its annual 30-day editing competition, providing editors with the opportunity to break through as storytellers and showcase their talent as editors through an original Movie Trailer, Title Sequence, or Advertisement. Participating editors will compete to create the best edit, and win over $50,000 in pizes.
The 2022 Edit Fest is centered on telling stories focused on the human experience in the most powerful way. Editors will have access to Filmsupply's full cinematic footage catalog and a curated Musicbed playlist to help create their original edit for one of the three categories. Your edit will be judged by a panel of industry-leading professionals.
You can download the starter kits for free here and start working on your project for Edit Fest. Submissions open on June 7 and close on July 7, giving you a full month to bring your creative vision to life.
Voting for People's Choice will run from July 11 until July 21, and the panel of judges will announce the winners of Best Movie Trailer, Title Sequence, and Advertisement on July 28.
