Getting a first feature made is never easy. Not even for someone with industry ties, and experience on camera. Nadine Crocker always knew she wanted to write and direct, and she knew she had a deeply personal story to tell. It was something she felt compelled to put into the world for something extremely rare in this business...

Selfless reasons.

She wanted to help people struggling with the things she's struggled with.

The biggest takeaway here has to be that in order to fight through all the adversity against making a film, you have to truly believe in what you're doing and why you're doing it. For Crocker, it became impossible to walk away, even though it would have been a lot easier to do so.
