Yesterday, GoPro announced the update to their action camera line, HERO, with the HERO8 Black

Sporting a max video bit rate of 100 Mb/s, updated features, and soon, mods for media, vlogging, and lights, the GoPro HERO8 allows for quick changes on the go with the new presets and is still waterproof up to 33 feet.

Adorama TV got their hands on the new action camera and highlights many of its intriguing features, especially the in-camera stabilization. Check it out below:

As you can see from the demo, the new HERO features quick set-ups with the new mounting system, the auto speed function of the TimeWarp (HyperSmooth applied to a TimeLapse video), and the new custom presets function.

The new HyperSmooth 2.0, available for all frame rates, helps take out the shakes from action sports and activities, such as the water sports shown here, while the presets allow you to change resolutions quickly, particularly in situations when you have limited time to do so.

We also get to see the various slo-mo options in action, including 240fps in 1080, 2.7K in 120 fps, and 4K in 60fps, while the camera faces the elements.

The GoPro Hero8 Black camera is currently available for pre-order, with the Mods available for pre-order in December.
