Fujifilm Cameras Will Be High Quality Webcams For Mac Users Soon
Fujifilm owners will be able to live stream via Mac soon.
Last month, Fujifilm released software that allowed compatible X Series and GFX cameras to turn into a high quality webcam. The software was only available for Windows users. After overwhelming response, Fujifilm has announced that it will be bringing the Fujifilm X Webcam software to macOS users by mid-July.
Additionally, Fujifilm has released a firmware update for the X-A7 and X-T200 cameras giving them webcam capabilities without the need of any additional software. The webcam feature works for both PC and Mac running Windows 10 (64-bit), macOS 10.14 (Mojave), or macOS 10.15 (Catalina).
Previously, both Canon and Panasonic released similar software giving those who work at home access to high quality webcams for Zoom, Google Meet, Skype, or Microsoft Teams meetings.
