It's rare to be cast as the lead of a feature film when you're 11 years old. What's even rarer is to be cast in one of the most notorious and celebrated bad movies ever made. Michael Stephenson's foray into the film industry was his starring role in Troll 2. This might have destroyed his career, or his life, but Michael’s strange career path and his love for underdog filmmaking stories got him on the track of directing documentary and narrative films.

His films include Best Worst Movie, Girlfriend's Day, and his most recent project Attack of the Murder Hornets (now available on Discovery+).

Listen for an inspiring and unique story of someone truly making the best out of the hand they were dealt.
