The fifth entry in the Scream franchise, directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpen and Tyler Gillet, arrives in January, but fans are already amped for the movie with the recent release of the poster, new on-set photos, an awesome promotional tie-in with AirBnB—and now, the trailer.

It's awesome to see some familiar faces like Sidney and Dewey taking on a new version of the Ghostface killer, who seems to be terrorizing descendants of the original cast in this soft reboot.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Gillet said the killer's true identity was a secret even on set.
“We were really careful to protect the big reveal of the movie,” he said. “We went as far as to withhold those moments in the script from the actors. We wanted everybody involved, to the degree that we could, to be a part of the whodunit. Obviously, you get to a point in the shoot where you have to let the cat out of the bag, but we went pretty far into prep and into production with a surprising amount of secrecy maintained.”
