SmallRig's a7s III Cage is Low Profile With Plenty of Mounting Options

SmallRig has announced three new cage options for the Sony a7S III that are now available for pre-order. The company has made a name for itself among creators for manufacturing affordable camera accessories that are extremely reliable and built to last.
The SmallRig Sony a7S III camera cage system has a form-fitting design that wraps seamlessly around the camera body and is made from aircraft-grade aluminium. The company points out that it has a double locking, anti-twist design for a secure fit that designed not to slip.
The cage mounts to the camera's 1/4"-20 thread located on the bottom and can be secured further with an Allen key. As you'd expect, the cage is covered in 1/4"-20 and 3/8" threads while still leaving all crucial compartments on the a7s III accessible. The cage also allows plenty of room for the screen to flip out.
Shooters can choose from three different kits. A standard kit, Professional Kit, and the Master Kit.
SmallRig standard kit comes with a HDMI cable clamp
The standard kit comes with a cage and a cable clamp for the HDMI port. The Master Kit includes an aluminum top handle and a single NATO rail. The Professional Kit offers a wooden grip handle. Additionally, SmallRig announced a separate L-bracket that can be used to to easily mount the camera in either landscape or portrait mode.The preorder prices are very inexpensive. The standard kit is $39, Master is $43, and Professional is $85, respectively. Expect them to ship in September.
