If you've already gone through the gauntlet of crowdfunding for your film project and miraculously come out the other end alive and with a successful campaign, you might want to consider entering your completed film into the 2014 Kickstarter Film Festival. The KFF is now accepting submissions for this year's event, which aims to celebrate the incredible film and video work that has been produced within the Kickstarter community, including features, shorts, animations, docs, and more! This year's Kickstarter Film Festival will take place this summer in NYC, as well as a few other cities that have yet to be specified. Last year's outdoor event in Brooklyn featured over 20 selections of projects funded, at least in part, by Kickstarter, including filmmakers Lotfy Nathan's 12 O'Clock Boys and Bill Plympton's Cheatin'.

Kickstarter is accepting all sorts of film/video projects: features, shorts, animations, documentaries, restorations, webisodes, music videos, and more. There are only 2 submission guidelines that they ask you to follow:
- Your work must be the product of a successfully funded Kickstarter project. (It doesn't matter which creative category your project was originally under.)
- Your work needs to have been finished within the last year (from January 2013 to the present).
To submit, simply fill out the form on the KFF website, which asks for private links to your film's Vimeo or YouTube. However, if you prefer, you can also submit QuickTime files. Just email filmfest@kickstarter.com, include your submission title in the subject heading, and Kickstarter will arrange for a secure file drop.
The deadline to submit is May 14, 2014 at 11:59:59pmEST, and Kickstarter will get back to you in mid to late June to let you know if your film made it into the festival.
