The Better Call Saul and Nobody star collapsed on set and was rushed to a hospital late Tuesday evening. Now he is stable.
Variety is reporting that Bob Odenkirk collapsed on the set of Better Call Saul. Crew members quickly got an ambulance to their location, and he received medical care.
Today, Odenkirk's reps updated Variety, saying, “We can confirm Bob is in stable condition after experiencing a heart-related incident. He and his family would like to express gratitude for the incredible doctors and nurses looking after him, as well as his cast, crew and producers who have stayed by his side. The Odenkirks would also like to thank everyone for the outpouring of well wishes and ask for their privacy at this time as Bob works on his recovery.”
This is a huge sigh of relief for all his fans and well-wishers. Odenkirk is a giant in the comedy world, having recently transitioned to drama, and even action. His talent, vision, willing mentorship, and kindness are well known throughout the industry and we wish him the best.
