We love Alex Garland around here. He's the genius writing mind behind some of our genre favorites like 28 Days Later and Sunshine, and Ex Machina was a bold sci-fi film I haven't stopped thinking about since it came out. His adaptation of Annihilationtook a complicated, amorphous novel and made it into a stunning environmental horror.

Now Garland is back with a new, twisted take on horror with A24's Men. The full trailer for the film dropped just this morning. Check it out below.

The film's synopsis states, "In the aftermath of a personal tragedy, Harper (Jessie Buckley) retreats alone to the beautiful English countryside, hoping to have found a place to heal. But someone or something from the surrounding woods appears to be stalking her. What begins as simmering dread becomes a fully-formed nightmare, inhabited by her darkest memories and fears in visionary filmmaker Alex Garland's (Ex Machina, Annihilation) feverish, shape-shifting new horror film."

We can't wait to find out what's going on with Buckley's character. And who couldn't love a movie full of Rory Kinnears? The beloved British actor has popped up recently in HBO's Our Flag Means Death, so I'm pumped to see him continuing to flex his acting talents in interesting ways here.

Men is in theaters on May 20. Will you be watching?
