A look at Apple Creator Studio, a new subscription option that packages together the company’s video editing and creative apps into a monthly or yearly subscription bundle.

Apple Creator Studio
In a long-awaited response, Apple has finally decided to release its answer to Adobe Creative Cloud. Apple has just announced Creator Studio, a collection of the company’s most powerful creative apps in a single subscription plan.
Centered around Final Cut Pro, this new subscription bundle is a major play (or, perhaps, risk) on the part of the company that has long kept its apps a bit more independent of each other.
Let’s take a look at the new Apple Creator Studio and what it has to offer for your video editing and content creation options and workflows.

Set to be available for Mac, iPad, and iPhone users, this Apple Creator Studio will include apps for video editing, music making, creative imaging, and visual productivity, all bundled together to give modern creators the features and capabilities they might need to experience the joy of editing and tailoring their content while realizing their artistic vision.
“Apple Creator Studio is a great value that enables creators of all types to pursue their craft and grow their skills by providing easy access to the most powerful and intuitive tools for video editing, music making, creative imaging, and visual productivity — all leveled up with advanced intelligent tools to augment and accelerate workflows. There’s never been a more flexible and accessible way to get started with such a powerful collection of creative apps for professionals, emerging artists, entrepreneurs, students, and educators to do their best work and explore their creative interests from start to finish.” — Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Internet Software and Services.
Apple promises new intelligent features and AI-powered upgrades, along with other premium content, designed for the apps in the bundle, which will include Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and, later, Freeform.

As part of this announcement for the new Creator Studio subscription bundle, it sounds like Apple is introducing new video editing tools and intelligent features for Mac and iPad to help improve the efficiency of even the most complex workflows in Final Cut Pro.
Also, for the first time, Apple has announced that Pixelmator Pro is coming to iPad with a uniquely crafted experience that has been optimized for touch and Apple Pencil. Logic Pro for Mac and iPad is getting some new intelligent features too, like Synth Player and Chord ID to help inspire anyone to write, produce, and mix a range of popular music.
And, to wrap things up, Apple has shared that Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and Freeform will all be part of the Apple Creator Studio subscription with more tools and premium content on the way too.
Price and Availability

While this may have always been in the cards for Apple, even if it is years after Adobe rolled out Creative Cloud and chose to bundle its creative apps before, the real question for many will be the price.
As of the announcement, and set to begin Wednesday, January 28th, 2026, Apple Creator Studio will be available for $12.99 per month or $129 per year, with a one-month free trial.
The Apple Creator Studio will include access to Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, and Pixelmator Pro on Mac and iPad; Motion, Compressor, and MainStage on Mac; and intelligent features and premium content for Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and, later, Freeform for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Continuing its discounts for students, Apple has also shared that college students and educators can subscribe for $2.99 per month or $29.99 per year. Alternatively, users can also choose to purchase the Mac versions of Final Cut Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Logic Pro, Motion, Compressor, and MainStage individually as a one-time purchase on the Mac App Store.
