Blackmagic Camera for iOS is getting another update as the popular camera recording app gears up for the latest generation of iPhones that Apple announced last week.

And while the Duo might be the biggest headline for many iPhone owners or fans, the iPhone 18 Pro does look to be the new line that might be most appealing to iPhone filmmakers and videographers, and this new Blackmagic Camera for iOS update aims to boost shooting with the variable aperture control on the 48MP fusion main camera.

The iPhone 18 Pro is Already Getting a Boost

As mentioned above, the big news is that Blackmagic Camera for iOS is adding support for the new iPhone 18 Pro models, including the iPhone 18 Pro and the iPhone 18 Pro Max.

These new iPhone 18 Pro smartphones are notable for featuring powerful 48MP fusion cameras, with an added boost from variable aperture control for depth of field and exposure.

The new iPhone 18 Pro models will also support Apple ProRes recording with this new Blackmagic Camera for iOS update.
