Before installing the software Blackmagic recommends running "Uninstall Blackmagic Camera Setup” first and then install V6.8 software which can be downloaded on the Support page. The company mentions while installing the update on Pocket Cinema Camera 4K you may notice a pause around the 70% mark which is normal. If this happens do not power off the camera. The update will finish and the camera will restart.
Camera Setup V6.8 can be installed on other camera models but it offers no new features. If installing on URSA Mini and URSA Mini Pro, Blackmagic says you may notice a pause around the 10% mark. This is normal and will continue after 20 seconds. Similarly, you may notice a slight flickering on the built-in LCD screen installing the software on the original Blackmagic Cinema Camera PL, EF or MFT,. This is normal and will go away after a few minutes of operation.
