According to Deadline, Marvel’s Black Widow is set to move from November 6, 2020 to May 7, 2021, Marvel’s Eternals from February 12, 2021 to November 5, 2021, and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings from May 7, 2021 to July 9, 2021.

And they're not the only big titles moving.

20th Century Studios’ all-star ensemble mystery Death on the Nile, directed by Kenneth Branagh, moves from October 23rd to December 18th.

Amblin and 20th’s Steven Spielberg-directed West Side Story has been delayed almost an entire year, from December 18, 2020 to December 10, 2021.

20th Century Studios’ Adrian Lyne-directed feature adaptation of Patricia Highsmith’s Deep Water also moves out of 2020, from November 13th to August 13, 2021.

These changes are all thanks to COVID-19 and Tenet's complete failure at the Box Office. Studios do not want to risk things, and we have seen American audiences completely avoid watching stories on the big screen.

While Mulan has had major success on-demand, no word yet from Disney on which new films could hit its streaming services in the future.

We tend to think of the box office as an American stat, but the truth is that markets all over the world are closed or at limited capacity. I'm not sure how long theaters can stay open if the movies they plan on showing continue to push backward.

While many are showing older movies to try to drum up business, people are not coming out.
