FXhome has launched its One-Minute Halloween Short Film Contestwith a longer runtime, bigger prizes, and a collection of nightmares.

How Do You Enter?
First, you're going to want to click the link here and sign up for a free asset pack!
Artlist has provided some of their best Halloween-themed tracks and SFX, one of which must be used within your short.
For the story itself, the prompt states that you must start with a character waking up and end with a cut-to-black. This is to maintain the flow of the community supercut.
Lastly, make sure your Halloween-themed film is no longer than 60 seconds!

What Can You Win?
If you win, you will relieve a subscription to Artlist, Artgrid, and the complete HitFilm Suite!
Cash prizes will also be rewarded as follows:
- Third Place, $1,000
- Second Place, $2,500
- First Place, $5,000
Videos will be judged on creativity, narrative, uniqueness, and direction.
This year, judges include Film Riot’s Ryan Connolly, Ben Franklin and Anthony Melton from Bloody Cuts, and the FXhome Creative Team.
When's the Deadline?
The Halloween Contest is still live right now and ends on Oct. 24.
The winners will be announced on Oct. 28.
