Indiana Jones himself is taking a hiatus away from the filming ofIndiana Jones 5due to a shoulder injury. Director James Mangold will continue to shoot the film without Ford present.
A spokesperson from Disney released a statement elaborating on the incident: "In the course of rehearsing for a fight scene, Harrison Ford sustained an injury involving his shoulder."
Well, if there's one thing Ford is, it's dedicated. The man is 78, and still doing some of his fight choreography and stunt work. That's impressive.
Ford is also no stranger to these types of accidents as he also suffered a broken leg while reprising his role of Han Solo on the set of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Hopefully, this injury isn't as severe, and he can get back to set for the remaining duration of filming.
Indiana Jones 5 is currently scheduled to debut in theaters on July 29, 2022.
