The newest installment in the Indiana Jones franchise is adding a superstar to their team.
The last time we saw Harrison Ford as the whip-slinging bandit was back in 2008, in the not-so-well-received Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Well, he's back, and he has a star-studded team behind him.
What does Phoebe bring to the table?
Phoebe Waller-Bridge is an acclaimed actor, producer, and writer. She's known for creating and producing an original sitcom on CBS titled Crashing as well as the dramedy series Fleabag, which swept the Emmys back in 2019.
She has an electric personality and presence which could add some much-needed energy to a franchise that's trying to breathe new life into its sails. We haven't been told anything about the role she will be playing, but the mystery is exciting.
Her previous work is stellar, and we couldn't be more excited that she was picked up to be a part of the newest Indiana Jones.
It leads us to wonder what unique spin she could possibly bring to the franchise. She's already done a polish on the last Bond. We'd consider her one of the most talented and creative working writers today who has already taught us so much about storytelling and character perspective.
Could her addition freshen up the Joneses?
Project intel
One of the biggest questions circulating the movie is the involvement of original writer/director Steven Spielberg. Although very few details on the film have been released, most fans inferred Spielberg would come back to direct what will probably be Fords' last time in the role.
It has since been released that James Mangold will actually helm the project while Spielberg stays on board as a producer. It might be disappointing to some but Mangold is an excellent choice to replace the legend.
Expectations
It's hard for our expectations not to be high when talking about Indiana Jones, and it's especially hard considering the talent they have working on it.
As mentioned, we don't really have a lot to go off of because there hasn't been much said by the studios yet. What we do know is that the potential for this film is very high, and we could be in store for something special.

Waller-Bridge brought a feminazi robot to Star Wars in the cinema classic "Solo" and that was a huge set back for any future customer to expect entertainment and escapism from our political driven news media, social media and real life drama from rioting, looting, throwing illegal immigrant children over fences, Asian killing, ethnic cleansing words like "Latinx", calling "white" people racist, denying all people all races can be racist and prejudice, gender drama, making white make characters into Black or Middle Eastern women because Hollywood needs to ride the Color Wave, calling Mexicans "brown people" for no reason, being told struggling single mother tax payers are paying off other people's student loans, and only Black photographers can take pictures of minorites.
I want to escape all that backwards stupidity, but don't expect to in any liberal butt kissing films these days, especially by Disney and Kathleen Kennedy, unless directed by Favreau, Eastwood, or Gibson.

You lost all credibility the moment you wrote "feminazi"
