This is not the website to go to if you want all the gossip on a recent celebrity wedding, but we're a great site ot go to if that wedding has Paul Thomas Anderson curate a film festival after it.

And that's exactly what happened the day after the Este Haim and Jonathan Levin Wedding, where guest Paul Thomas Anderson got together a little screening series to get the party going.

We know PTA is close to Este Haim, who is in the band Haim, and has had PTA direct many of their music videos. But imagine being a random family guest at this wedding and getting to go to this screening series the next day:

That's a dream.

  • 11:00 PM - 1:00 AM: FATHER OF THE BRIDE

There's an obvious typo that has Casablanca running way too long, but otherwise, this list is so interesting. It contains cul classics and high art, and a lot of different vibe shifts.

It also has some interesting depictions of marriages that don't always work out in these movies. But ends on a high note that's incredibly sentimental.

I'd love to hear the reasoning behind all these titles; maybe they're inside jokes, or maybe they're just movies he knows they'll like. I can't imagine sitting for Barry Lyndon and immediately sitting for Casino, but I also think that could be a really lovely day if you caught a few of these and then talked with other guests about the movies afterward.

My goal is to get invited to one of these celebrity weddings that has one of these days and to report back to all of you.
