Soften Your Aputure LS 600D with New Snapbags from DoPChoice

This year, Aputure unveiled its new LS 600D LED COB fixture, a daylight-balanced bright light that compares nicely to the industry-standard HMI's. DoPChoice has released two new Snapbag softboxes that fit the LS 600D, helping to direct the light, plus a Double Bracket that allows other softboxes to fit the fixture.

The rectangular Snapbag Medium SBRRM fits directly onto the LS 600D's circular Bowen's mount via DoPChoice's Rabbit-Rounder mounting system, which can be set up quickly so filming can get started sooner. When installed, it's 45 x 33 x 33 inches and 6.17 pounds.

Thanks to DoPChoice's pyramid baffle, located at the center, the 600D light is spread evenly, and the included Magic Cloth can be attached to diffuse the light more. The company has also introduced 30° and 40° Snapgrids which can be used to further direct the light.

The other Snapbag option is their famous octagonal softbox, the Octa 5 (SBRRO5), now with a Bowens mount for the 600D. Like with the Snapbag Medium SBRRM, setup can be done fast, and the light diffusion is smooth and even. It can also be used open, and an optional 40° Snapgrid can be attached to help direct the light more. The Octa 5 is 61 x 61 x 29 inches and weighs 10.03 pounds when set up.

Finally, DoPChoice released the SRADA mounting bracket which can be used on two Aputure lights, specifically the 600D or 300 DII. The two lights will sit side-by-side with front lenses, and the rabbit-ears mounting system allows nearly all of DoPChoice's Snapbags to focus and diffuse light.
