We're seeing some level of normalcy return to Hollywood this year as COVID-19 gets slightly more under control, but many awards ceremonies are opting for hybrid broadcast/livestreamed/in-person events.

Thankfully, these new celebrations don't prevent us from reveling in the talents of creators and performers. This year's American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Cinematography will be streamed online.

The Event

The live show will include the ASC Outstanding Achievement Awards for best cinematography in feature and documentary films, and in four television categories. Nominees for this year include Erik Messerschmidt for Mank,Phedon Papamichael for The Trial of the Chicago 7, Joshua James Richards for Nomadland, and more.

Sophia Coppola will also be presented with the organization’s Board of Governors Award. 

How to Watch

The awards ceremony takes place on April 18, 2021. It will air at 12:30 p.m. Pacific Time/3:30 p.m. Eastern Time.
