Western Digital Has 4 New External SDDs for the On-the-Go Creator
The 4TB drives have fast read/write speeds.

Western Digital acquired SanDisk in 2016, and since then has expanded the popular brand among creators beyond the familiar memory cards and USB flash drives to include portable SSDs.
The company has released four new external SSD options that offer fast read/write speeds with up to 4TB capacity. Let's take a look.

SanDisk Extreme Pro Portable SSD V2
- NVMe solid state performance, featuring read/write speeds up 2000MB/s
- USB 3.2, Type-C/Type-A

Western Digital also owns G-Technology, so it will be interesting to see how these compare to their portable G-Drives that can offer up to 2800MB/s read/write speeds as well as the popular Lacie Rugged drives.
