In addition to the new ALEXA SXT cameras, ARRI also announced the Master Anamorphic Flare Sets, which consist of replaceable front and rear glass elements that give specific lens flare effects, and gives you more control in-camera. Here's a video showing what they can do:

Here's a little bit of info on them:

Each of the seven Master Anamorphic focal lengths has its own specific flare set, comprising easily replaceable front and rear glass elements with a special lens coating that encourages flaring, ghosting and veiling glare. The flare elements can be used individually or in combination to provide the lens with three additional looks for enriched on-set creativity.

By using the ARRI Master Anamorphic Toolkit, the front and rear glass elements can be exchanged with the regular Master Anamorphic elements in a matter of minutes, since each flare element is pre-aligned in a metal frame. A set of Master Anamorphics effectively becomes four different anamorphic lens sets, each suitable for different flaring requirements while maintaining the famously distortion-free optical performance.

One of the criticisms of the Master Anamorphic lenses is that they can be a bit too clinical at times. For projects that want some of the anamorphic look without a ton of the lens anomalies that come with anamorphics, this isn't a problem, but if you were really looking for all of the weird flares that can come from these kinds of lenses, you previously had to look elsewhere. Now with the flare sets, you'll be able to choose what kind of lens effects you want, and to what degree, and you'll also be able to mix and match, or use all of them at once.

This is really the best of both worlds if you want some interesting in-camera effects (rather than adding them in post) but you still want the lenses to be sharp and distortion-free.
