Fans of films and felines will find this Instagram account quite—(don't say it)—purrrfect. (I hate you.) The brainchild of UK couple David and Sarah, @moviecats recreates famous scenes from popular films with the help of their two cats Willow and Tara.
It all started when David, a quizmaster at a local pub, used a photo that recreated a scene from E.T. for the "film and TV" portion of a trivia game. After a rather favorable reception, both David and Sarah decided to create an Instagram account and make @moviecats a regular series, uploading one every week.
So far the duo has only recreated five films: E.T., Alien, American Beauty, Ghost, and The Shining, but they definitely have plans to continue the series as a weekly trivia game. If you're interested in learning more, David and Sarah also have a behind-the-scenes account, @casualmoviecats, that might be cool to check out.
