Are you early in your filmmaking career with a particular bent toward comedy? Above Average's Residency Program may be just the break you need. The company is currently accepting applications through April 1, 2017, for this 18-month paid development experience. The purpose of the residency is to prepare and nurture talent, building their skills and industry relationships, for future opportunities within Above Average or elsewhere in the comedy entertainment landscape.

Above Average is an independent subsidiary of Lorne Michaels' Broadway Video. Above Average produces comedy videos and series designed to play across a variety of platforms, including digital devices, social media, and television. Naturally, several current and past SNL cast members have appeared in Above Average's series and one-off shorts, as well as some of the best comedic actors working today.
