DJI Mavic Pro: Finding the sweet spot between form and function.
When DJI announced its new Mavic Pro, our initial impression was that making a drone this small and portable while maintaining high image quality standards would have been no easy feat. In these five GIFs, DJI provides a look into how the thoughtful design of various Mavic Pro components helps to provide users with a familiar, safe, and high-quality aerial filming and photography experience.
Unfolding the arms
The folded-arm design of the DJI Mavic Pro went through several iterations before the team developed the strongest and most space-efficient design. The folded arms unfold in under five seconds, and are designed to save as much space as possible when folded.
Power and smart features
DJI merged big power and smart features to make theMavic Pro a true combination of form and function.
Keeping it cool
The Mavic Pro is the first drone from DJI to include a centrifugal fan behind the gimbal to draw air in for cooling the body.
The magnesium alloy heat sink base helps to dissipate the heat.
The camera
DJI redesigned the camera from the Phantom series drones to fit the small form factor of the Mavic Pro.
Portrait mode has been enabled thanks to the ability of the camera to rotate 90 degrees.
The remote
