Illuminati Reveals the World's First Bluetooth Wireless Light and Color Meter

Clip this little device anywhere and get detailed readouts sent straight to your phone.

While we haven't seen too many products from large companies that have stopped us in our tracks at NAB, there have been some really cool little releases from burgeoning start-up companies. One such product is Illuminati's wireless, smartphone-connected light and color ambient and strobe meter for photography and filmmaking.

The meter takes an ambient reading of your location and sends stats straight to your phone. Unlike traditional light meters, however, it’s not just taking exposure readings; it also measures the color temperature and even chromaticity of your ambient so you can correct magenta/green shifts.

The design is very sleek and compact, featuring a clip on the back so you're able to keep your hands free at all times. The Illuminati is set to ship in August, and if you want a special deal, you can still donate to their Kickstarter for a pre-order of $200. The final retail price will be $300.
