71st Primetime Emmy Awards will kick off at 5 PM PST on Sunday, September 22, 2019.
The big headline is that the 32 Emmy nominations for Game of Thrones, the most for any program in a single season, gave HBO the most nominations by platform this year, a total of 137, beating Netflix's 117 noms.
