Available on Blackmagic Design’s website right now, this new firmware is solely focused on the aforementioned Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6 K, adding phase-detect autofocus support and up to 10 minutes of pre-record, so shooters never have to miss an unexpected moment again.

The update also adds other autofocus support and features, as well as support for Blackmagic Cloud Streaming and support for 4-channel audio recording. All great updates that should make this Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K even more appealing, especially given its current price below $3k.
