As things get back to normal, we are seeing major cultural centers open up. But how will you choose who to patronize first? Well, the New York City Ballet had Sofia Coppola create a black and white short film promoting the return of their 2021 Spring Gala. It's an enthralling short film that takes us back into the beauty of ballet.

The cinematography was done by Philippe Le Sourd (The Beguiled, On the Rocks).

That was such a sumptuous collection of performances and spectacle. Each one was filmed inside of Lincoln Center, which is special because it's been closed since March of 2020.

The music from Frédéric Chopin, Igor Stravinsky, Johannes Brahms, Samuel Barber, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart highlights the elegant dancing and gorgeous angles.

The film is only available to view online until May 20, 2021, so share it far and wide now!
