Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia (SSFF & ASIA) is renowned as one of the largest international short film festivals in the world. With accreditation from the esteemed Academy Awards, this festival has been celebrating the art of short films since its inception in 1999.

As part of its commitment to showcasing the evolving world and fostering new possibilities for filmmakers, SSFF & ASIA introduced the Global Spotlight Award in 2020. This award recognizes works that capture the present global landscape and unite diverse perspectives.
