IBC, Europe's version of NAB, will no longer be holding a physical show in Amsterdam in 2020 and has launched IBC Showcase online in its place. The event will be hosted from September 8th - 11th. Registration is free and now open.

With the advantage of time, as well as seeing how other industry trade shows have rallied to put their own virtual events on, IBC has put together a lively multi-day event of speakers, programs, and product announcements.

The exhibitor showcase will be a "one-stop shot" for innovation where attendees can discover the latest products through video demonstrations, product launches, press conferences, and through curated workflow tours. IBC's virtual programs will dive deeper into the cutting edge technology filmmakers use every day, sharing insight from industry leaders. Already scheduled is Intel's look at the future of 8K, live streaming, VOD, and 360° video. More programs will be announced soon, and attendees can probably expect programs similar to Cine Gear's look at when cinematographers should get an agent

Current exhibitors include Adobe, ARRI, Canon, and Blackmagic Design. Will any of those companies officially announce new gear as they've done at past IBC shows. Could ARRI show off its latest Alexa Super 35 4K camera or Blackmagic Design introduce a new full-frame option? No Film School will have it covered when if do.
