Sigma Officially Confirms 120fps RAW Recording for fp
Sigma updates fp firmware roadmap with version 2.0.
In unconfirmed reports it was suggested Sigma would be announcing a firmware update for the Sigma fp during CP+ which was cancelled due to the coronavirus threat. Several trade shows have been cancelled or postponed due to the virus, including the Game Developers Conference set for mid-March. As of now, NAB is proceeding as planned in April.
Sigma has released a statement detailing the firmware roadmap for its full-frame mirroreless camera. Firmware version 2.0 will be released summer 2020 and improve the camera's overall functionality and add new features. Here's what to expect.

- Support CinemaDNG 120/100fps in FHD 8-bit
- Support cinemagraphs
- Support still image shooting during live view and movie shooting in Cine mode
- Support HDR shooting
- Support Director’s Viewfinder recording
- Support SDK Software Development Kit
Sigma will be releasing firmware version 1.02 which will improve lens abberation and correct memory card errors when using certain SD cards. Version 1.02 is set for March 18, 2020. When released, download links can be found here.
