The Thypoch Simera 21mm f/1.4 Lens
As mentioned above, the goal here is to combine a vintage feel with high-quality modern optics. The Simera 21mm f/1.4 Lens is set to bring an expansive, wide-angle perspective to Thypoch's full-frame Simera lens series.
This new lens aims to embody optical refinement with its two aspherical, three high-refractive index, and three extra-low dispersion elements that all combine to minimize chromatic aberration and distortion.
The Simera 21mm features a manual focus design with a minimum focus distance of 9.1" and an aperture control ring that operates in both clicked and de-clicked modes.
The 14-blade iris provides a versatile aperture range of f/1.4 to f/16, allowing strong performance in low-light conditions and clean, rounded bokeh.

Refined Optics and Dynamic Design
The Thypoch Simera 21mm f/1.4 lens will feature an f/1.4 maximum aperture that provides superb depth control and low-light performance. It will also include a 14-blade iris for smooth, rounded bokeh and defined highlights.
Two aspherical, three ED, and three HRI optical elements ensure edge-to-edge sharpness, and the optical formula itself should provide excellent distortion control and minimal chromatic aberration.
The lens will also feature a manual focus design with a short minimum focusing distance of 9.1". The aperture control ring has clicked and de-clicked modes for hybrid use which should make it ideal for Leica M-mount and for use with rangefinder cameras.
