Wes Anderson's The French Dispatch is set to hit theaters next month and we have a taste of his new world now.

And it's all thanks to this beautiful animated music video directed by Anderson himself, featuring artist Jarvis Cocker.

Check out the video here.

In this French-based music video, we get looks at different characters and the actors playing them in the film. The plot/themes also seem to be slightly foreshadowed here.

If you aren't aware, according to the studio, the film is "a love letter to journalists set in an outpost of an American newspaper in a fictional 20th-century French city that brings to life a collection of stories published in The French Dispatch Magazine."

Even if you don't exactly understand what's going on here, Anderson's glaring signature style is more than enough to keep you interested.

Anderson is a master of animation as well as film, and it's always inspiring seeing filmmakers use different mediums to promote and extend their cinema work.

The French Dispatch is set to hit theaters on Oct. 22, 2021. We can't wait!
