As we posted earlier this week, the handheld stabilizer that utilizes gyro stabilization and accelerometer technology, the MōVI, is getting all kinds of attention -- rightfully so considering what it can do. Today, update on Vincent Laforet's blog post about the MōVI announces that two TWO of these bad boys are being given away. All you need to do to be in the running to get one for free is follow both @freeflycinema and @vincentlaforet on Twitter. After receiving almost 1 million views on its videos in just a few days, Freefly Cinema's MōVI is clearly an incredibly desired item. Laforet's blog lays it out below.
To share in our excitement and the overwhelming reaction by the video/film community -- we're gonna go ahead and give two of them away. Sooo -- how do you qualify?
Well, the truth is that we're simply too busy to come up with a creative challenge/contest/film or shot ideas right now (not to mention going through them.)
So, we'll make it super simple -- simply follow both @freeflycinema and me @vincentlaforet and we've got a pretty darn neat way of picking the winner -- it may have something to do with a remote, altitude and general craziness! It's just that simple and necessary jargon: no purchase necessary to win.
More details on how to order the MōVI and additional details on the kits will be posted in the coming days. We'll keep you keep you up to date as information becomes available. Until then, go follow Laforet and Freefly on Twitter!

You can always rent one! Kickstarter is a great way to get financing for a film idea -- and then you rent a MoVi for production! Don't let age ever be a limitation in your creativity!

Ha! Do sophomores count?? Lol
And I'm seriously thinking about kickstarter for a project in the near future! The black magic pocket cinema camera looks like a great option for something small like that would be. And rental for high-speed cameras for slow motion.

Whoever wins needs to start renting out immediately, they can make some money, and the community can start doing tests.
