No More Door Bang With Ikan's New LED Lights
Ikan, popular for their budget-conscious filmmaking equipment, shows us their new lines of LED lighting fixtures.
The Lyra line is a series of soft light LED panels with a half-stop of diffusion built in. They feature mounting holes for battery plates and an LED display flanked by a large yellow knob for controlling brightness and color temperature. All Ikan LEDs are now above 95 CRI and 97 TLCi across their dimming ranges with a variation of approximately .2% and minimal flicker. A 1'x1' costs $799 and a 6"x1' version is available for $399, with Bi-Color versions costing $100 more. Their Mylo light is a smaller LED panel packing a much denser array of LEDs than their previous models. It features the same yellow knob for controlling color and brightness and will also be sold for around $399.
